In iOS 26, the FaceTime app will automatically pause the video call whenever someone starts undressing.

According to iDeviceHelp, users will receive a warning message explaining that the video will be paused when someone is undressing during the call.

“The audio and video are paused because you may be showing something sensitive. If you feel uncomfortable, end the call,” the message says, before offering the user two options: end the call or continue with audio and video.

As noted by 9to5Mac, Apple announced a similar feature last month as part of new family tools being introduced for children’s accounts.

“Communication Safety expands to intervene when nudity is detected in FaceTime video calls and to blur nudity in Shared Albums in Photos,” Apple explained.

It now seems that these features are being rolled out to all users. The change is already available in the iOS 26 beta version, which will be officially released in September along with the new iPhone 17 lineup.
