The news comes directly from the owner of the social network, Elon Musk, who revealed that he personally requested the change. According to the billionaire, links without headlines help ‘optimize time spent on X,’ as they receive less attention, and ‘improve the platform’s aesthetics.’
With this change, when posting a news article with a link on X, only the main image of the publication and the website’s address will be displayed in the lower corner of the photo.
This is coming from me directly. Will greatly improve the aesthetics.

Interesting.
Our algorithm tries to optimize time spent on X, so links don’t get as much attention, because there is less time spent if people click away.
Best thing is to post content in long form on this platform.
