According to the website WABetaInfo, the option promises to enhance the user experience by enabling not only the transmission of visual content but also audio, making communication more interactive.
The feature is currently being tested in the WhatsApp beta for iOS version 23.25.10.72 and is also planned for a future update of the application for Android.
