A new ChatGPT feature allows users to make calls to the tool through a number also available for WhatsApp chats. OpenAI has announced additional innovations for its artificial intelligence.
Users can add the number 1-800-ChayGPT to their contact list to make free 15-minute calls for those with a phone plan in the U.S.
It’s possible to ask questions about places and landmarks, as demonstrated by OpenAI.
Calls can be made using both modern devices like iPhones and other smartphones, as well as older mobile phones.
“OpenAI’s mission is to make general artificial intelligence beneficial for all of humanity. Part of this is making it as accessible as possible to as many people as we can,” said CPO Kevin Weil.
To interact with ChatGPT via WhatsApp, simply add it to your contacts and send text messages to request information. The expectation is that this chatbot feature will support images in the future.
