The shocking video showing the moment when a piece of the ceiling fell on the audience during a concert in Australia is leaving netizens speechless!
The shocking clip, shared on TikTok, was filmed during the Bad Omens concert in Melbourne. The ceiling fell while the band was closing their performance last Wednesday (22).
In the video, you can see that the ceiling fell after confetti cannons were shot into the air, seeming to dislodge pieces of the ceiling from the Festival Hall. This caused several pieces to fall onto the crowd, and some people were injured.
On social media, a fan claimed that their friend had been hurt by the falling debris. “My friend was hit, soft tissue damage to her hand and maybe broken/fractured fingers. She’s upset and (rightfully so),” they shared.
Another person revealed that two women were “bleeding” after the incident. “It was really bad… Two girls were dragged in front of me, one bleeding from her mouth and neck, the other from her knee… A lot of people in the area were struggling to get out,” they said.
According to reports from those present, the Bad Omens band members seemed unaware of the incident, as they continued playing the rest of the song before leaving the stage and returning shortly after for the encore.
