The Falcon 9 rocket from SpaceX was launched last Tuesday (18) with a load of 23 satellites, but it “parked” in an unusual place.
After placing the Starlink satellites in their proper spots in space, the Falcon 9 returned to Earth and “parked” on the drone ship Just Read the Instructions, off the coast of the Bahamas.

Earlier this month, SpaceX made a post on X to comment on the partnership with the Bahamas, which will allow the Falcon 9 to “be launched on new orbital trajectories.” Isaac Chester Cooper, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Bahamas, also highlighted the importance of the collaboration.
“This is significant in many ways. It’s the first international landing in the Bahamas. It places us at the forefront of innovation and gives us, a small country of 400,000 people, an opportunity to be part of the aerospace industry. This is huge.”
