An HR worker named Sunny Lena took to TikTok to share some of the strangest reasons why she had to fire people.
The Minnesota-based woman made a list of the bizarre behaviors she witnessed at work that forced her to say “you’re fired” to employees.
In the first TikTok, which already has over 900,000 views and was captioned: “Would you have fired these people too?”, Lena shared a story about a guy who loved to nap during work hours.
“The first guy was napping in his car from 10 a.m. to almost 1 p.m. every single day. He did that for like four months straight. He was a new hire,” she explained.
She added that since no one could find him, “I ended up firing him by knocking on his door.”
“He couldn’t believe he was being fired for sleeping three hours a day,” she said.
Another dismissal involved a food service worker who was smearing feces on the bathroom walls. “We weren’t sure if he was washing his hands or not.”
She also had to fire a woman for becoming violent.
Lena told a third story about a female employee who brought in a pressure gun and threatened to use it on a coworker, then called HR “mean” after being fired, claiming the company didn’t tolerate jokes.
In the second part of the video, she talks about a man who was stealing office supplies.
“This guy was literally loading boxes of toilet paper into his vehicle,” Lena reported. The employee first received a verbal warning for stealing toilet paper.
Not satisfied with the warning, “he pulled down his pants and pressed his butt against the glass window” of a conference room full of supervisors, Lena said, noting that he was escorted out by security and officially terminated.
Another man was fired for sneaking “into a private manager’s office at night, watching adult content, and leaving bodily fluids everywhere.” Everything was caught on the security cameras.
