In-N-Out, the famous fast-food chain from the United States, is suing the YouTuber who pretended to be a restaurant employee to record a prank video.

Bryan Arnett, who has over 600,000 subscribers on his channel, was seen at several In-N-Out locations in Southern California at the end of April, while some stores were closed for Easter.

The young man, wearing the full uniform of the chain, was pretending to be an employee of the restaurant to trick people by offering fake menus, making unpleasant comments, and asking personal questions to customers.

The video, which has since been deleted, shows Arnett making uncomfortable comments to customers, such as: “I like to watch my wife sleep with other men. Would that interest you?”. He also joked that the restaurant “only served gays.”

He also asked one of his friends to pretend to be a customer and claim that a cockroach was found in an order while talking to a real customer. Later in the video, he pretended that a condom had fallen into a meal.

Then, on June 20, In-N-Out filed a lawsuit against Arnett, alleging that the YouTuber had falsely represented the company and defamed its brand.

“[Arnett] made obscene, derogatory, and profane comments, such as claiming that In-N-Out had cockroaches and condoms in its food, and that In-N-Out associates put their feet in the lettuce served to customers,” reads a passage from the lawsuit obtained by SFGate.
