Apple has decided to resume advertising on X (formerly Twitter) after more than a year. The decision was initially made in November 2023.

At that time, several other brands, such as Amazon and Disney, were also concerned about the social network’s acquisition by Elon Musk and the promotion of antisemitic posts on the platform.

In August 2024, X even went to court, claiming that the companies were conducting an “illegal boycott” and creating a conspiracy to “collectively withhold billions of dollars in advertising revenue” from the company.

But now that Musk has taken an important position in the United States government, the tech giant reversed its decision and resumed advertising its products on the social network. According to The Verge, Amazon has also stated that it plans to significantly increase its advertising spending.
