Asus has announced a new, unusual product: a mouse with a compartment for an air freshener.
The Fragrance Mouse is described by the brand as an “elegant and ergonomic mouse” with an “internal compartment for fragrances with a refillable bottle for aromatic oils.”
Available in two colors, pink (Rose Clay) and white (Iridescent White), the mouse has a lifespan of 10 million clicks. In addition, it supports both wireless USB 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth connectivity.
It is powered by an AA battery, which is placed in the bottom of the mouse, and features an ergonomic design with PTFE skates for smoother gliding on surfaces.
The mouse was launched after the equally unusual Adol 14 Air Fragrance Edition laptop, which contains a fragrance capsule, according to a report by The Verge.
The novelty was first announced at CES 2025 and works similarly to the mouse, but in the case of the laptop, the fragrance capsule lights up when the computer heats up, releasing a fragrance into the environment.
