A robot made a shot that even professional players cannot make, breaking the world record. The invention was designed by Toyota.

The CUE6, a basketball robot designed by Toyota, made a shot that even professional players cannot make. The robot broke the world record for the longest shot ever made.

The company used artificial intelligence to power the CUE6 and has been improving it over the years. It started development by Toyota in 2017, and in 2019, it entered the Guinness World Records after successfully making 2020 consecutive shots.

It was designed exclusively to shoot basketballs with precision. Toyota reported that it can self-calibrate to successfully make the next shots.

The video shows the robot making a shot from under the basket on the other side of the court, at a distance of 24.54 meters.

Toyota plans to continue improving the CUE6 so that it can achieve new records.
