The South Korean brand introduced the innovation that could become the world’s first MicroLED TV with a transparent screen. It’s worth noting that the transparent TV presented by LG, also during CES 2024, features an OLED panel. In the latter, each pixel emits its own light, allowing for precise contrast and vibrant colors, but there may be wear over time. On the other hand, MicroLED uses small inorganic LEDs to create each pixel, offering intense brightness, durability, and the ability to build modular panels without loss of quality over time.

In a video released by Samsung, you can see some details of the panel, which uses transparent LEDs to redefine viewing experiences. According to the brand, the MICRO LED display, the result of six years of research and development, has been enhanced to provide a more immersive and revolutionary visual experience.

The innovation was showcased by Samsung during CES 2024 (Consumer Electronics Show), one of the world’s largest and most influential electronics fairs held in Las Vegas, United States. The event is a stage for the presentation of new technologies and innovations.
