Samsung Unpacked 2025, the annual event by the Korean manufacturer, took place on Wednesday evening (22nd) and was full of the brand’s major announcements.

Among these announcements was the introduction of a new Galaxy phone series, including the base model S25, the S25+, and the much-anticipated S25 Ultra. The models are already available for pre-order and will officially launch on February 7th.

One of the highlights of Samsung’s new flagship models is the inclusion of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. This chip is designed to provide enough computing power for Samsung’s new AI features.

In terms of AI, Samsung Unpacked kicked off with announcements related to artificial intelligence, including new multimodal agents capable of interpreting text, speech, images, and videos to create a fully immersive experience while using the smartphone.

Samsung also announced a partnership with Google, which will integrate parts of its Gemini AI platform into the new devices. During the event, Samsung demonstrated an example of Google Gemini, which provided photo advice based on the user’s image.

The company also revealed a few surprises, such as a teaser for an Android XR-based headset model and an image of the device, concluding the presentation with a short clip of the Galaxy S25 Edge, which is ultra-thin and will be officially revealed soon.
