YouTube is testing a new feature in its app, which includes a button that directs users to random videos. The new feature is designed to offer videos when users don’t know what to watch.

According to information from The Verge, the new function is only available for some devices and is offered after the user has browsed through some videos on the YouTube homepage. After clicking the button, the platform will display both full-length videos and shorts from the YouTube Shorts category.

It is still unclear whether YouTube takes the viewing history into account when showing random videos to users.
