The Finnish company Insta Group Oy has announced the development of a drone equipped with fragmentation explosives to assist Ukrainian troops against Russian attacks.
The specialized drone Insta Steel Eagle ER (Extended Range) has a range of 50 meters and is equipped with an explosive payload. Developed in collaboration with Ukrainian experts, the ammunition contains around 3,000 steel or tungsten fragments and has a lethal capacity over an area of 2,000 m².
The model also withstands enemy interference, according to Tuure Lehtoranta, Vice President of Sales at Insta Group, who also stated that the Insta Steel Eagle ER represents a significant advancement for Ukrainian troops in the current conflict scenario.

The company stated that the drone will only be sold to Ukrainian troops for now. However, Insta Group admitted that, in the future, it aims to obtain the necessary marketing licenses to commercialize the drones in Europe and NATO countries.
