According to a report by Bloomberg, the next Apple Watch and AirPods to be released by Apple could feature built-in cameras.

According to journalist Mark Gurman, the company’s idea is to integrate cameras to give the devices the Visual Intelligence feature, which was introduced by Apple with its AI tool, Apple Intelligence.

With this, Apple plans to allow users to perform even more functions with their smartwatches without needing to use their smartphone for simpler tasks.

Gurman revealed that future AirPods could also include cameras. This is not the first time the topic has come up: AirPods with built-in cameras were mentioned last July by industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

However, after the leak, concerns about user privacy began to emerge. If these cameras are integrated into the devices, will they be active all the time, or only when the user opens the camera app?

Only time will tell. After all, the Apple Watch and AirPods with cameras are not expected to be released until 2027. Until then, we hope Apple’s AI features will be much more advanced than they are today.
