Last Tuesday (20), Google launched Flow, an innovative AI tool capable of creating cinematic films through text commands.

Using AI models from Gemini, Flow can generate scenes based on descriptions. You can create your own characters and settings or use the resources provided by the platform.

It’s important to note that once these elements are created and added to a scene, they can be reused in other clips, which helps maintain continuity throughout a sequence.

This feature solves a common issue seen in other AI video generators, which often change scenes and characters significantly from one shot to another.

Flow was unveiled at Google I/O, the big tech’s annual conference taking place this week in California. The tool joins the company’s other AI resources: Veo for video generation and Imagen for image creation.

For now, Flow is only available to subscribers of the Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra plans in the United States, but the tool is expected to be rolled out to other countries soon.
