The Hubble also showcased the planet in visible light, where you can observe a large red spot, which appears blue in ultraviolet wavelengths and represents a storm.
These data are part of a study aimed at mapping deep-water clouds in Jupiter’s atmosphere. The Hubble has a history of studying outer planets and, with its ultraviolet capabilities, allows the analysis of cosmic phenomena and the evolution of galaxies.
The second Hubble view shows Jupiter in visible light, with its Great Red Spot storm raging at lower center.
