The clip features a robot from the Robotics and AI Institute (RAI), a Boston, Massachusetts-based institute whose mission is “to solve the most important and fundamental challenges in robotics and AI.”
In the skill demonstration, RAI explains that the “Ultra Mobile Vehicle (UMV) drives, turns, jumps, performs tricks, and stops suddenly, called track-stand. All the driving, landings, balancing, and track-stands are performed using reinforcement learning.”
