According to data from the report, which considers installations within the past year, Windows 10 continues to be the preferred choice of Microsoft users, occupying 71.64% of computers worldwide, while Windows 11 comes in second place with 23.61%.

The report also provides information on other versions of the operating system, with Windows 7 in third place at 3.34%, followed by Windows 8.1 and 8 at 0.61% and 0.35%, respectively. The classic Windows XP is present on 0.34% of the world’s PCs.

One possible reason for Windows 11 not yet being popular among users may be related to its minimum requirements, such as the need for a compatible TPM module, as well as aesthetic criticisms at the time of its launch.
