Meta has just announced that it will expand ‘Close Friends’ on Instagram, a feature that allows sharing stories with a specific group of users, to private Feed and Reels.

The announcement was made by the company’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, through his broadcasting channel on the platform:
“Sharing with your best friends is now expanding to Feed and Reels. More types of posts with the same smaller group.”
According to the programmer and informant, Alessandro Paluzzi, this expansion of ‘Close Friends’ will be called ‘Your Space‘ and will function as a private area within the public profile, where the user can even set a different biography and profile picture.
