A man who was trying to take a photo at the edge of a waterfall in Brazil died after falling from a height of about 80 meters.
Jeremias Almeida Santos, 33 years old, was with friends at the Véu de Noiva waterfall in the city of Livramento de Nossa Senhora, in Bahia, Northeast Brazil, when the accident occurred last Sunday (16).
According to witnesses, he approached the edge of the waterfall to take a photo when he fell. His body was removed from the site by military firefighters and volunteers who worked at the location, which is considered “difficult to access.”
