Mark Zuckerberg has spoken out about the rumors that he has an “underground bunker” beneath his $270 million house in Hawaii.
The 40-year-old Meta CEO addressed the issue after his wife, Priscilla Chan, saw him playing video games from the supposed “bunker.”
However, during his appearance on comedian Theo Von’s podcast *This Past Weekend*, Zuckerberg revealed that the basement of his Hawaii home is “more like a storage room.”
“There’s this whole meme where people say I built an underground bunker. It’s not that big of a tunnel. It’s kind of a tunnel that goes to another building… It’s like a little grass-covered shelter underground,” he explained.
Even though that’s not the case, it wouldn’t be surprising if Zuckerberg did have a bunker. With a net worth of nearly $200 billion, he’d simply be joining other billionaires who are preparing for potential catastrophes like a third world war.
