The news was revealed by the company’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, and Instagram’s director, Adam Mosseri, through their broadcasting channels on the platform.

On this occasion, Zuckerberg announced the testing of the new feature and disclosed that the novelty may be launched for everyone soon. Meanwhile, the director of Instagram went even further and revealed that polls can even be conducted on a feed post.

“Alert for a new test! Have a question for your followers? We’re starting a small test to add a poll or vote in the comments of a post or feed scroll. We’re always looking for new ways to interact with friends and creators. If you see this test, let us know what you think,” said Adam Mosseri.

Currently, a poll on Instagram can only be conducted in Stories through a specific function, where you can set a question with up to four response options.
