After several leaks, Motorola has finally announced its new Razr models, the iconic foldable phone.
The announcement was made on Thursday, April 24th, when the American tech company officially revealed the series, which consists of three new devices: Razr, Razr Plus, and Razr Ultra.
With a new Snapdragon processor, the Motorola Razr Ultra is claimed to be the world’s most powerful foldable phone, according to Motorola, and it also charges the fastest.
Its price is $1300, but the price-performance ratio is incredible. The Razr Ultra features a 4-inch external display and a 7-inch internal display, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage.
The battery is large at 4700 mAh, and it has the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, along with three 50 MP cameras. Motorola is also introducing a new “AI” button, a physical button that quickly opens AI shortcuts.
“Moto AI” is available on all models in the series. Other Razr models are not as “flashy” as the Ultra, but they are much more affordable, with the base model starting at just $699.

Razr comes with a smaller 3.6-inch external display and a slightly smaller 6.9-inch internal display. It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of storage, but the cameras are not particularly impressive.
The Razr Plus, which costs $999, is a good compromise for those looking for a solid price-to-performance ratio without needing the Ultra model’s top features. It has the same 4-inch external display as the Ultra, but the internal display is 6.9 inches on the base model.
It uses the slightly newer Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 processor and comes with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, along with a 50 MP wide-angle camera and a 50 MP telephoto lens at the back.
The 2025 Motorola Razr, Razr Plus, and Razr Ultra models will be available for pre-order starting May 7th in the United States through Motorola, Best Buy, and Amazon.
