As usual, NASA shared a special image of the universe in the ‘astronomical photo of the day,’ featuring nebulas located towards the northern constellation of Cepheus.

In the image, you can see the emission nebulas IC 1396 and Sh2-129, which are situated amidst a blend of bright interstellar gases and large clouds of dark dust.
The nebula on the left is located 3,000 light-years away from Earth and contains a star within it. Surrounding it are some dark clouds, popularly known as the “Elephant’s Trunk,” containing materials for forming new stars.
On the right side, there is Sh2-129, also referred to as the “Flying Bat Nebula,” accompanied by the ‘Giant Squid Nebula.’
