Officially known as NGC 281, within this nebula lies the open cluster IC 1590, with young and powerful stars that fuel the nebula’s glow, nicknamed ‘Pac-Man’ due to its shape.
The NGC 281 nebula is located about 10,000 light-years away from planet Earth, in the constellation Cassiopeia.
