The NASA spacecraft, Juno, currently orbiting Jupiter, has successfully captured a stunning image of the planet and one of its moons, Io.

The probe took the image hours before completing its 53rd close flyby of Jupiter at the end of July, managing to capture both celestial bodies. Scientist Alain Mirón Velázquez processed the image.

Io, one of Jupiter’s moons, is characterized by its highly active volcanic surface, with hundreds of volcanoes regularly erupting.
