To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the iconic Pac-Man design, Bandai Namco, the creator of the game, has announced a year-long celebration that will last until the end of the year.

In addition, several brands have joined the hype and are offering themed products to honor the iconic yellow character.

For example, Krispy Kreme in the United States announced it will sell a dozen glazed donuts for just 25 cents with the purchase of a regular dozen.

The brand also revealed themed donuts, available in select U.S. locations since May 12. The Krispy Kreme x Pac-Man collection includes three new donuts in a custom box.

“From power-up snacks to super-nutritious dinners, these colorful and creative recipes will have you eager to reach the legendary level 256!” says the book’s description, which is available for purchase on Amazon for $29.99.

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco is releasing a new game inspired by Pac-Man. Shadow Labyrinth is “a 2D action-platformer and an alternate version of the iconic Pac-Man that shifts genres,” according to the company.

Scheduled for release on July 18, the game is already available for pre-order on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo consoles.
