A poker player was filmed getting so enraged that he flipped three tables during an event at the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
The incident took place at Harrah’s Cherokee, North Carolina, last Sunday (23), according to a report from the website pokernews.com.
The video was filmed during the second day of the $1,700 Main Event of the World Series of Poker Circuit, with 65 players remaining in the tournament.
“The tournament director’s worst nightmare!” said Matt Savage, the executive director of the World Poker Tour, in response to the one-minute video posted on X (formerly Twitter).
The individual, whose identity was not revealed, allegedly shouted that God told him to do it, according to a player in the tournament who spoke to the channel.
The incident caused real chaos during the tournament. An X user revealed it took about 2 hours to resolve the issue and for players to agree to continue the tournament.
