Poland has transferred another 5,000 Starlink terminals to Ukraine, facilitating communication for both military personnel and civilians.
According to Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation, hospitals, schools, and critical infrastructure facilities in the country are also receiving terminals.
“Starlinks will help residents of front-line areas stay in touch: call their families, contact emergency services, and read the news,” said the minister.
“Due to shelling and the destruction of base stations in occupied territories, regular communication is not available,” Fedorov added.
As a result of the cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Transformation and international partners, Ukraine has already received more than 50,000 Starlink terminals, with over 29,000 coming from Poland alone.
“Thanks to international support, we remain connected even under the most difficult conditions,” Fedorov concluded.
