LG has announced a transparent TV with a screen through which users can see. The product has hit the market at an astronomical price.
LG Signature OLED T is the latest product from LG, aiming to revolutionize the television market. Featuring a transparent screen that allows users to see through it, the product is priced at $59,999.
The innovation was unveiled early in 2024 at CES in Las Vegas. With its futuristic design, 3D images and videos appear to float on the screen, as if in an aquarium.
The TV boasts a 77-inch screen equipped with OLED technology, capable of displaying high-resolution 4K videos on a 25-centimeter-deep display.
“Transparent OLED gives you the opportunity to place the TV wherever you want, without compromising the aesthetics of the space, the view, or any other aspect of your lifestyle,” said Andrew Sivori, Vice President of LG Electronics’ Home Entertainment Division, to USA TODAY.
The product became available on Wednesday (18th) at Video & Audio Center, Best Buy, and LG’s website.
