Russia launched a record-breaking attack of over 260 drones against Ukraine in the third year of war between the countries.
According to local reports, the attack took place last Sunday (23) and involved 267 armed, unmanned vehicles.
Ukrainian forces were able to neutralize 138 of these drones, as well as 119 “copycat” drones, meaning imitation drones.
These “imitation” drones are made to confuse and overload radars and defense systems, but do not contain explosives.
Three ballistic missiles were also launched by Russia, leaving three dead and five wounded, according to preliminary reports.
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine began on February 24, 2024, but the war could soon come to an end.
This is because President Vladimir Putin of Russia and President Donald Trump of the U.S. may reach an agreement that will grant Russia the requested territories.
