The shocking video showing the moment when an Iranian news anchor was interrupted live by an Israeli bombing on the building is going viral on social media.
The clip shows footage of the moment when presenter Sahar Emami was reading the news when the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN) building was hit by a bomb.
Emami had to cut the broadcast and leave the building, located in Tehran, the capital of Iran. “What you heard is the sound of a clear aggression by the Zionist regime on the IRIB [Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting],” she said, according to the BBC.
The channel reported that a staff member, Masoumeh Azimi, was killed in the attack, with the Israeli military stating that the bombing targeted an “Iranian regime communications center.”
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmail Baqai, condemned the “wicked act,” labeling it a “war crime.” The two countries have been exchanging attacks since the first Israeli bombing in Iran last Friday (13th).
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the attacks were “a targeted military operation to contain the Iranian threat to Israel’s survival.”
