After announcing last Friday (May 2) that GTA 6 will only be released in 2026, Rockstar decided to ease fans’ anticipation by releasing the game’s second trailer.
The first trailer for the sixth Grand Theft Auto was released in December 2023. Since then, little has been revealed about the game. Now, the company has unveiled several exciting details in the second trailer, released last Tuesday (May 5).
While the first trailer focused on the character Lucia, the second also introduces Jason, the game’s other protagonist. It seems the two will form a kind of “Bonnie and Clyde” duo in Vice City.
Speaking of Vice City, the trailer showed some details of the city — GTA’s version of Miami — as well as some of the available vehicles, including sport bikes, helicopters, a small airplane, jet ski, boat, and more.
Originally expected for late 2025, GTA 6 has recently been delayed. Rockstar announced last week that the game will now launch on May 26, 2026. According to the company, the decision was made to ensure the “level of quality” that fans “expect and deserve.”
