Bri, 31, lost the use of her legs after the tragic accident 11 years ago. She always loved fashion but struggled to feel confident and began hiding behind her clothes.
But in a viral video shared by stylist Kenzie Welch, Bri looked visibly more radiant after receiving a full fashion makeover, with stunning outfits that seemed to significantly boost her self-esteem.
During the clip, Kenzie explained how she worked on some of Bri’s insecurities, including her fear of showing her legs.
“I wanted to encourage her to believe they are beautiful and that we could find a modern way to wear the style she loves!” the stylist shared.
“She also struggled with layering, but I showed her that cropped jackets and bright colors helped balance the style and her proportions.”
Through the outfits, Kenzie said she wanted Bri to show more of her personality. “When she enters a room, I want her to feel that people notice her first, not her wheelchair,” she added.
“A reminder that fashion is a space for everyone to explore. Clothes are more than just what we wear. They shape and influence how we see ourselves and how we present ourselves to the world,” the stylist concluded in the video caption.
