Chen Weinong, a Taiwanese surgeon, became famous after posting a video where he performed a vasectomy on himself.

In the video, the doctor initially mentions that he made the video “for educational purposes only” and does not recommend performing the procedure at home.

Weinong is in the operating room, dressed in special attire, sitting in the operating chair, performing a procedure he describes as “a very unique experience” that he “doesn’t plan on repeating.”

The procedure lasted about 15 minutes, and the video ends when he has stitched up the incision. “It felt strange to touch and stitch my own urethra,” he wrote on social media after the procedure.

He told Daily Mail that he felt some pain afterward but was much better the next morning. Weinong also emphasized that he was accompanied by a urologist who helped him in case any issues arose.
