December 19, 2024, Rome — The Italian Ministry of Defense announced the signing of a contract with Iveco Defence Vehicles (IDV) for the supply of 1,453 next-generation tactical-logistical trucks, model SMR6. The contract is valued at 755 million euros, and deliveries are expected to begin in 2025.
