Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram, revealed that he plans to leave part of his fortune of over $17 billion to the 100 children born as a result of his numerous sperm donations.

He explained that he will divide the amount between the six children he had with three partners, as well as the 100 children born in 12 different countries thanks to his sperm donations that began about 15 years ago.

“I want to make it clear that I don’t distinguish between my children,” Durov said in an interview with the French magazine Le Point last Thursday (19th).

“There are those who were conceived naturally and those who came from my sperm donations. They are all my children and will all have the same rights! I don’t want them to grow apart after I’m gone.”

However, Durov, 40, emphasized that he doesn’t want his children to have access to his fortune for at least 30 years.

“I want them to live like normal people, to build themselves up, to learn to trust themselves, to be capable of creating, and not to depend on a bank account,” he said.
