Initially, the Threads web version was available only in read-only mode, allowing users to view posted content. Now, it’s possible not only to interact with posts by commenting and liking, but also to create new posts via the web.
Threads was launched on July 5, 2023, for iPhone and Android, and quickly gained millions of users. However, the initial enthusiasm began to diminish within the first month of the social network’s launch, and today it experiences a 70% drop in engagement.
