Now it’s possible to directly share Threads posts as direct messages on Instagram, making conversations more dynamic and saving users from taking screenshots.

Meta has also announced the ability to view all posts that were liked in the past week under ‘My Likes’ in the app’s settings menu. Additionally, a button has been added for easier mention of people in a post.

The app will also allow for customization of ‘alt text’ when posting a video or photo, enhancing accessibility.

With the new update, Threads will also enable sorting followers’ views into three modes: default, most recent to oldest, or oldest first.
