The new feature, which has been eagerly awaited by users, will make it easier to find posts through search, which currently only works to locate profiles on Threads.
“Get excited—the search is coming to Threads,” wrote Mark Zuckerberg on his social media profile.
Recently, Threads also launched its web version, something that was highly anticipated by users, allowing them to post and interact on the social network through their web browser.
Threads was launched on July 5, 2023, for iPhone and Android, and quickly gained millions of users. However, the initial enthusiasm began to wane in the first month of the social network, and today it has seen a 70% drop in engagement. Now, Meta is making efforts to provide all the necessary and requested updates to regain the audience.
