In the video that went viral, with nearly 9 million views, Conor O’Brien demonstrates his technique for placing sheets, pillowcases, and blankets in their proper places while still lying down.
“This is something I do that I’ve never seen done before, and I want to share it with you,” he says at the beginning of his clip. “When I wake up in the morning, I make my bed from inside it.”
O’Brien gives a full demonstration, lying down, covering himself, and asking his audience to imagine that he was asleep and just woke up to a new day.
Soon after, he shows his trick; the TikToker starts by pushing the pillows back against the headboard of the bed. Then, he secures the duvet on one side and rolls and covers the bed until the other side, to get up and show his accomplishment.
“Can you imagine the first thing that happens in the morning, you get out of bed, wait a minute, my bed is already made!” O’Brien exclaims. “It’s a great way to start the day.”
Some people commented that they thought the idea was amazing, and some even called the TikToker a genius.
“It’s both so chaotic and so organized,” wrote one user; “It’s genius!!” exclaimed another.
“A new level of productivity! Doing tasks before rolling out of bed is wild!” joked a third.
