Brazilian influencer Bella Longuinho shared a video on her social media showing how doctors performed her facial feminization surgery as part of her gender transition process.
Bella gave more details about the procedure in a video posted on her Instagram profile.
“They [the doctors] made the incision here [around the top part of my head], opened my skull, the hair came along, scraped the forehead bone, […] then they went back and had to glue the skin all back together,” explained the influencer.
“It’s a pretty invasive surgery. That’s why I came out with a lot of ‘plugs’ on my face and was all swollen [initially],” Bella continued.

She also showed scars on her chin, resulting from her Adam’s apple removal surgery.
“There’s another scar here [at the bottom of the chin] and another here on the nose. The scars on the jaw and chin are inside the mouth,” she showed in the video.
Bella’s followers praised the influencer for her courage to undergo such a delicate procedure. “Just hearing her talk gave me anxiety,” said one of them.
