
A leak has revealed that the United States government is reportedly developing its own artificial intelligence (AI) tools through a website.
The website ai.gov was leaked by 404Media and reported by The Register. According to the leaks, the site is expected to go live on July 4th, and the project’s goal is to “accelerate government innovation with AI.”
A preliminary version of the website was accidentally published on GitHub by the Technology Transformation Services (TTS) department, led by Thomas Shedd.
According to the leaks, the site will feature a chatbot, an API that connects to other systems, and a tool called CONSOLE, described as “an innovative tool for analyzing agency-wide implementation.”
