A mother is being slammed on social media after unexpectedly showing up at the club where her son was, all while he was enjoying a night out with his college friends.
Jessica Tapscott, who calls herself a “boy mom,” posted a video on TikTok saying she was going to surprise her son by suddenly showing up at the bar where he was.

“The time I showed up at the club to surprise my son in college,” wrote the mom in the video, which shows a compilation of clips of her smiling next to her son in a dark nightclub.
At one point, she appears smiling at the camera with a drink in her hand before focusing on her son, who was sitting with his hood covering his face and looking at his phone.
In the comments on the video, which has already received more than 3 million views, users criticized the mother’s behavior. “Boy moms are so scary, I swear to God,” commented one TikTok user.
