Russian boxer Anastasia Luchkina shared a video of herself smoking an electronic cigarette and offering it to an orangutan at the Taigan Park Zoo in Crimea.

The video shows the fighter smoking for the camera and then placing the vape within reach of the caged primate.
The orangutan mimics the boxer, grabs the pink vape, and takes a puff.
Anastasia Luchkina, from Pyatigorsk, Russia, repeated the action, and the ape appeared increasingly interested and eager to continue vaping.
The zoo has rules and restrictions in place to protect both animals and visitors, strictly prohibiting provoking or scaring the animals, extending arms or legs through the bars, or touching the animals.
“Anyone who violates these mandatory rules will be subject to administrative liability by public order authorities,” the park’s website states.
The boxer’s behavior was criticized by users on X, formerly Twitter.
“Absolutely disgusting behavior, she should never be allowed to fight again,” one wrote. “The poor ape inhaled the vapor — that’s going to be extremely stressful, if not fatal, for the orangutan,” said another.
Luchkina has not yet commented on the incident. The zoo has not confirmed the orangutan’s health status following the inhalation.
