In a recent post, he explained the reason behind his decision. “It’s pretty simple. I was scrolling on TikTok in my Ferrari and all these TikToks about ‘looksmaxing‘ kept showing up,” the content creator shared.
Looksmaxing is an online term used to encourage people to focus as much as possible on their appearance by waking up very early and going to the gym seven times a week. This is where the trend of men with completely unrealistic morning routines originated.
“And they would say: ‘Do this, do that. You’ll become more attractive. You’ll attract more women.’ And I thought: Do people really have this problem? I have the opposite problem. I get so many DMs that I don’t even have time to read them all.”
