The new feature, from the messaging app by Meta, allows users to initiate voice chats silently, without ringing, with the option to join by tapping a bubble in the conversation. The innovation will be rolled out globally in the coming weeks, starting with groups of 33 people or more.
The WhatsApp has implemented various improvements to its platform in recent months, including the ability to use two accounts simultaneously and passkey support on Android.
