A 23-year-old British woman was surprised to find a note left by the cleaning staff in her hotel room. Katie Moody, from Bournemouth, UK, shared on TikTok how a small act of kindness can make a big difference, and it touched the hearts of many online.
In her post, Moody explained that she travels a lot for work and always tries to stay at the same hotel whenever possible. She mentions that she always takes her 23-year-old stuffed bunny with her, which she has had since she was born.
“I work a lot out and stay at the same hotel when I can. My 23-year-old Bunny comes with me everywhere, and the housekeeper wrote me this,” Moody writes in her post.
The note said: “Hi! We remember your doll,” along with a smiley face, and Moody replied with another note: “Thanks for always taking care of her! Her name is Bunny!”.
The hotel staff then left another friendly note: “Hello Katie and Bunny, nice to meet you!”.
In an interview with Newsweek, Moody shared that the stuffed bunny is her companion when she’s away from home, and she can’t sleep without it. According to the TikTok user, it was a “surprise” when she saw the first note, and she said she will soon return to the hotel and hopes the note exchange will continue.
In her post, Moody explained that she doesn’t know exactly who left the note, but she hopes her gratitude reaches the person who was so kind to her bunny.
“And now we have a new friend. Kindness makes all the difference. I don’t know who you are, and you don’t know me, but if this reaches you, thank you.”
